Producer-Calculator is an online digital service designed to assist music producers with technical and musical production decisions.
The service calculates interconnected production parameters based on information such as song tempo, tuning and musical key and provides calculated settings for use with the Producer-Calculator audio plugin.
The Producer-Calculator system therefore consists of an online calculation service and a companion audio plugin that receives and uses calculation data generated by the online service.
The audio plugin is provided without a separate purchase price to users who begin an eligible free trial or subscription.
An active trial or subscription is required to generate new calculations through the Producer-Calculator website.
Previously configured plugin instances may continue to operate after a trial or subscription ends, as explained in Section 7 below.
Your first subscription payment is charged after the 7-day free trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.
The subscription then renews automatically on a monthly basis until cancelled.
The final amount payable, including applicable taxes, is displayed during checkout before you confirm the subscription.
Payments are processed through Stripe Managed Payments.
For transactions processed through Stripe Managed Payments, Sold through Link, LLC acts as merchant of record using Stripe's payment infrastructure.
The exact payment method, subscription price, applicable taxes and billing details are displayed during checkout.
Producer-Calculator does not receive or store your complete payment card details.
Unless you cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew every month and the applicable monthly subscription amount and taxes will be charged using your selected payment method.
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Manage Billing function available on your Account page.
Normal subscription cancellation prevents future subscription renewals.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated during the cancellation process, cancelling a paid subscription does not immediately end the remaining subscription period that has already been paid for.
Cancellation of future renewals is separate from exercising a statutory consumer withdrawal right.
If a Producer-Calculator plugin instance has already received calculation data while you had valid trial or subscription access, that calculation data may remain stored with the plugin or your host project.
You may therefore continue to open existing projects containing previously configured plugin instances after your trial or subscription has ended.
The stored settings of those previously configured instances remain available, and their plugin controls may continue to be adjusted.
Ordinary cancellation or expiry does not, by itself, delete or invalidate calculation data that was previously generated and transferred to the plugin.
After your trial or subscription access has ended, you cannot generate new calculation data through the Producer-Calculator website without an active subscription or other valid entitlement.
A new or otherwise unconfigured plugin instance may still be opened on your computer, but without valid calculation data generated through the online Producer-Calculator service, it will remain at its initial welcome or setup interface and its calculation-dependent functionality will not become available.
If you later reactivate an eligible subscription, you can again generate new calculations in accordance with the subscription conditions applicable at that time.
These provisions describe ordinary subscription cancellation or expiry. They do not limit any different consequence required by law following a valid statutory withdrawal, refund, fraud-related reversal or lawful termination.
If you are acting as a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within the period provided by applicable consumer law.
As a general rule under EU consumer law, the withdrawal period for a service contract is 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.
The right of withdrawal is separate from ordinary subscription cancellation.
You may exercise your withdrawal right by making an unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract.
You may also use the electronic withdrawal function provided on this website.
Withdraw from ContractThe Producer-Calculator website provides an electronic withdrawal function for online contracts where required by applicable law.
The function allows you to submit your withdrawal statement electronically and confirm your decision before submission.
The electronic form requests information necessary to identify you and the relevant contract.
After submission, a confirmation of receipt is sent electronically without undue delay and includes information concerning your submitted withdrawal statement and the date and time of submission.
The 7-day free trial forms part of the subscription contract.
The subscription price that applies after the free trial, the automatic monthly renewal and applicable pricing information are communicated before the contract is concluded.
Where the consumer was clearly informed at the time of contracting that the service becomes paid after the free trial and then renews automatically, the conversion from the free trial to the paid subscription does not necessarily create a new withdrawal period.
The existence and duration of any statutory withdrawal right are determined by applicable law.
The Producer-Calculator service may become available immediately after successful registration and activation of the free trial or subscription.
During registration, where applicable, you are asked to expressly request that the Producer-Calculator service begin during the statutory withdrawal period.
Any consequences concerning the withdrawal right following commencement or full performance of a service are governed by applicable consumer law.
The online Producer-Calculator service requires a compatible device, internet connection and supported web browser.
The companion Producer-Calculator audio plugin requires compatible music-production software, operating-system compatibility and a supported plugin format.
Supported operating systems, plugin formats and other current technical requirements are provided with the plugin download or relevant product information.
Internet access is required when using the online calculation service to generate new calculation data.
Unless otherwise stated during the purchase process, the contractual information and online service are provided in English.
The subscription begins with the initial 7-day free trial and, unless cancelled before the end of that trial, continues as a recurring monthly paid subscription.
It remains active until cancelled in accordance with the applicable subscription conditions.
The end of the subscription does not, by itself, remove the ability to use previously configured plugin instances as described in Section 7.
